Tip-toe walking is quite common when toddlers are learning to walk. Most overtake him by the time they are two. Sometimes tiptoe walking becomes a habit (idiopathic toe walking). The Mayo Clinic advises that as long as your child is developing normally, it is unlikely that there is cause for concern. However, keep an eye on it. Walking on tiptoes can be a sign of autism or cerebral palsy. The earlier autistic disorder or cerebral palsy disease is diagnosed, the better.
Toe walking that continues after two hours may be a symptom of:
- A short Achilles tendon
- Autism or other developmental disorders
- Cerebral palsy or other neurological disorders
- Heavy metal poisoning
If you notice your child is tiptoeing, talk to your child’s pediatrician.
Ask about the risks and possible neurological and developmental tests for delays, disorders or illness. Most likely, unless there are other symptoms, they will just watch it. Many grow up tiptoeing and have to think about it consciously in order to walk normally. Most of the time that doesn’t really pose a problem, but sometimes it does.
The best advice
Detox heavy metals first. If the body is not cleansed for the first time, you may only be making the problem worse. It’s just common sense. How can you really know what the problem is, until you have a clean workplace? Pharmaceutical companies know this. All of their tests are performed in a controlled, clean environment with purified water. Pharmaceutical companies know that test results can be compromised by what is in the air around us and the water used for cleaning and drinking.
If your child is tiptoeing, you can easily help them detox from heavy metals with activated, macronized, liquid zeolite in suspension. It is on the FDA’s list of generally considered safe (GRAS) and does not carry any age or dosage warnings. Then the diagnosis and treatment will be more likely to be accurate. Don’t run the risk of misdiagnosis. Who knows what other symptoms you might be alleviating.
Tip-toe walking is a symptom
Before treating it, detoxify heavy metals. It makes sense.
