Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a chronic condition that is usually characterized by severe pain affecting your legs, arms, and legs. Symptoms vary from person to person but the pain is usually severe in all. Once the pain begins, it usually spreads along the entire length of the limb.

Symptoms followed by pain in complex regional pain syndrome include skin discoloration, swelling in the body part, changes in body temperature, sensitive skin, and abnormal sweating. Burning sensation pain on the patient’s skin is frequent. The causes of this disease are not yet very clear. Symptoms of CRPS occur after an injury or illness where it is easy to identify the cause where the nerves are not directly damaged. Complex regional pain syndrome can also occur after the body has experienced a major trauma such as a surgery or an acute fracture. However, the link between trauma and illness is not yet clearly understood. But most researchers have concluded that the disease is a neurological disorder that affects the central nervous system.

Complex regional pain syndrome often leads to muscle spasms, joint stiffness, and severe weakness. This condition, over time, can sometimes lead to cold sores on the affected area and changes on the skin and nails. When conditions reach this stage, disability carries a reversible risk. This disability can also make it difficult for you to move around. The pain can be so intense that any action or movement is unbearable. This can have a huge impact on your life, often leaving you unable to perform everyday tasks.

Disabilities such as complex regional pain syndrome lead to stress on your lethality as well as emotions. The Canadian government’s goal is to make it easier for people with the disease by providing disability tax credit benefits. In addition to helping you claim your appropriate benefits, the Canadian Disability Corporation (CDC) also helps you receive additional information about disability tax credit benefits and other grants that may be beneficial to you. This ensures your emotional peace and makes your family and friends worry about the cost of treatment. So, take advantage of help when you can through CDC, which will help you file and claim benefits.
